Recent assignments- DMP and Band Competition Friday, June 25, 2010

Very proud of my recent assignment for Digital Matte Painting. Whoever's not familiar, Matte Painters do background images for movies. Lets say actors are acting in front of a green screen, after you take off the green, you will need the background. That was my assignment.

Took alot of re-doing and finding suitable pictures. Pictures watermarked heavily with their respectful owners and i do not own any of the pictures i used. I think i re-did this assignment 5 times from scrap because my head was so preoccupied with my other assignments and i couldnt concentrate.

So i took this few pictures and created the final artwork. I admit im still not very good and there are others better than me in my class.

Another thing I'm preoccupied lately is Battle of the Bands. Its a event in my school where bands compete for $1000 prize money (About $600+ USD).
I'm in charge of designs for the whole event and it really takes all of my brain to design and complete poster after leaflets after booklets after tickets. Hahaha. But i'm not complaining. Since its not completely publicised yet, here's a preview of the booklet :Poster photo taken by Gnin. Anyone needs some photography do look for him.
Tickets are going at $5 per person which includes a voting stub for the Most Popular Band.

New stuff from PC fair! Saturday, June 12, 2010

I'm really not one to bitch but sometimes I feel underappreciated. Not like I'm unrecognized or anything. Just hate that I'm treated like (rap even though I do so much. A little appreciation would be nice. Some people just don't know shiit other people have to go through for them.
Here I am trying to find a nice angle for my big face. Was bored waiting for Gnin to finish his exam. Calculus was it? Hmmm. It ended at 7 though.

I just bought a Wacom tablet. Its a Wacom Bamboo Pen & Touch since i think the mouse doesnt cut it when it comes to fine details..

Since you're reading this post, i suggest you create a new tab(heh dont close this window) and get a gmail or yahoo account. Its free anyway. And gmail can read attachments without you needing to open the file seperately. Does that make sense?
Hotmail is getting from odd to odder (is there such word?) and sometimes will be unavailable for DAYS!

Post will be deleted in fear hotmail will come bite my ass.
