HK Day 3- SCAD, HK Uni, Ladies Street
Sunday, November 7, 2010

Day 3. Lovely SCAD. Apparently the HK government gave them the old Kowloon Magistrate building to open their school.
Building was still under construction with only less than 10 classes going on. We had to go through the side door.
Mountains and hills all over Hong Kong.
Darren.
Admissions officer briefing and welcoming us.
They preserved all the marble walls and signs.
Oooh.
Students lounge area.
Their printing room.
Our guide explaining the importance of students knowing how to make large prints.
They have an actual dark room.
With lights on. Facinating, never seen one of these in real life. Nowadays everything is digital =(
Machine to "project" images on the paper. I didnt really understand the process of what happened.
Photography class room.
Building's architechture.

Since the school just opened, many of their other campus students transferred here. Still, not many.
A class we visited.
Painting class.
Ok i only took this pic because the guy is cute.
Stock motion room. Its in "cubicles" so students can film their individual mini stock motions.
Emo picture of Jaslyn.
Gahhh. Blur picture of guide talking.
More court-like pictures.
Peeking in. They preserved most of the unique halls.
Green screen room puts ours to shame.
We entered the court room for our briefing and watch some students work.
We were invited to enter whats behind the witness's stand.
Going downstairs.
I was thinking, they didnt even let the prisoners kill themselves hence the bars. I could be worng.
Holding cells.
Which are now study areas and some are display areas.
They maintained one holding cell with its original prison-ness.
Everyone so facinated.
Left SCAD for lunch after that. Calissa's dont take pics of me face.
Javeus, Melissa, Yamuna
We then went to University of Hong Kong for a talk by WowWowTank Productions. The guy in the skeleton is one of the lecturers or admin for the school. We had the talk alongside some HKU students.
That night we went to Ladies Street. So many cheap things and overexcitable shopkeepers.
The place sorta looks like this. [Picture credits to someone on Google Images]

Bought this dress and these boots and alot of other things.
Concludes Day 3 of my trip.
I'm blogging too slow for my liking, apologies.

Love,
Me
