Its me VANITY.
Ooh it seems ages since i last posted. We(poly ppl) were released for mid term break. It was was SUPPOSED to be a MONTH holiday for us DDM-ers since there is one week where its MSTest week. (There isnt many exams in Digital Media and this was one of the times where we didnt have ANY tests).
So we assumed we had 3 weeks + 1 week holiday.
But alas, reading the Blackboard (our online "school" thingey) it says DDM classes will go on as usual during MST week.
As EC boys will put it, "potong stim"
Hehe.
My class had a photography trip to Sungei Buloh Wetlands Reserve. Was for our Digital Visual design module. Its just a random study trip where we get to practice taking pictures (LOL?) and have our lecturer Mr Leon guide us during this trip.
Frankly.. even taking the same pictures my lecturer took, mine looks crap and shitty in comparison.
Here's some shots. I cant upload the whole thing since they're SOOO large in size. This is a snapshot of some of the things i took. Unedited for now since Mr Leon wants us to show him our 5 BEST SHOTS. Keeping my "best" shots first for now. These are random chosen ones.

Calissa my classmate took this random picture of me. Was watching the koi fishes in the pond. Thats me exclaiming "OMG THERES TURTLES IN THERE!". Its actually terrapins but it was in fit of excitement.
I saw it and liked it so i asked her to take another one.

Really enjoyed the trip except maybe got bitten by one too many mosquitos. Chad got raped upside down by the mosqutos and had fatty bite marks all over his arms and legs. Looked disease-y.

Billy actually said, "Ugh I'm hungry" as this shot was taken.
Bryan actually took the mic and proceeded to hold it in an obscene position after I took this shot. He wanted me to take a pic of him in that obscenity. Hehe.

ALOT OF DRAMAS I TELL YOU. (Long grandma story)
We actually left the dolly (its like wheels for the camera tripod's legs so easier to move around) in school. Its worth $140 about 300 ringgit?
Anyway we were sooooo convinced we lost it. It was a Friday.
Then on Monday we realised it was gone. Went back to school to search like hell. Nowhere.
Asked Subway people,
KFC people,
Cleaners,
Plate washers,
Cleaners who washed plates,
Still nowhere to be found.
Then then Birry and darren wanted to ask the people who were in charge of the pool. MIA.
Darren realised the footage taken on that day wasnt usable. Darn it. Had to reshoot.

Yes they came to JB to film.
Realised we wasted $140 when we didnt actually start filming.
Filmed at same location the next week on Saturday in school.
People in charge of pool came to ask if we lost something
"YES WE DID! A DOLLY"
And he went to his office to get it for us.
Remind myself to buy him some cookies or something with a Thankyou note. Hmmm.
Filming has ended now we're left with the editing. And thousand other homework which i shall attempt to finish before holidays end (on the 29th).
Random lunch with the fatty. He paid for my Unagi Bento. Hehehehe.
That was my hectic week.
THANKS MY LUVLY GROUP MEMBERS. I know i'm not exactly Miss Easy-to-work-with as i tend to yell and nag alot. We finally finished filming now we can proceed to do out individual assignments.

Haiya. Why did a picture have to be taken when we were rehearsing? We werent supposed to go all out as to not attract attention to ourselves. Hence my bended arm and my bunned hair.
