Christmas and New Year's Eve Tuesday, December 30, 2008

Sorry for neglecting this blog for almost a month.
A quick update now though before another hectic week until New Year's over.

Went for Malaysian Dreamgirl Season 2 auditions in Hotel Selesa on the 20th. My post on the event can be found here.

Went for alot of stuff to get my driving license.
Moved! I live in permas now :o
OK i gtg now. The new house doesnt have internet and im now in starbucks and its closing now.
Gah!!!

3rd January 2008

Okay now i have a somewhat decent internet connection. I wonder if anyone realised my long hiatus. Anyway.
So i wasnt sure what i can blog about. Hmm
SO maybe i should start with my christmas and new year's celebration since i havent really snapped any pictures of my new room (Its still messy and stuff's still in boxes, etc etc)

Okay.
So i wore a dress for christmas eve. If you must know, i spend every christmas eve and new year's eve in my mum's shop. So its not much of a celebration for me, more like hosting etc etc.
So this is how i look like, decent enough. Haha.

ZOMG. Yes dont laugh. I'm bad at posing and my sister wasnt in the mood to take pictures of me, actually she isnt ever. But still.

I have more pictures on New Year's eve. It was a Broadway themed night and the staff had to be in top hats and tiaras and there was performances by the band. So i had nothing to wear as usual, so decided to wear all pink. Then i found this random bunny ears and put them on. I guess they matched somewhat.

So my sister wanted to have ears too. I drew some cat ears (since she was dressed sorta slick-ish a la catwoman) and pinned onto her hair.

I got a call yesterday morning from Taylors College. They said my application for the National scholarship was accepted. It was a 50% for diploma and 10% for degree. I had to reject it because i would have to start next week (the 7th if i'm not mistaken) if i accepted.

I dont think i'm ready as of yet and i asked them if i could go for the other intakes. So the person on the phone said i must re-apply if i want, using my SPM results (which will be out this march?) and it wont be confirmed that i will get it.

Having mixed feelings now. Didnt expect to get it so i didnt consider much of it. I would have to give my reply to them tomorrow (4th Jan 2009) in whether i'm taking it up or not. Oh well.

genting 2008 Monday, December 15, 2008

Genting Trip
Arrived on the 8th about 5pm. Overall, the trip was very very fun (maybe cuz we went with friends?)
Note : The not-so-clear pictures are taken with my phone's camera.

Day 1 : 8th December
Went to my mum's godmothers house in KLIA. She's some famous cook. Dont know what or who a Betty Saw (aka Betty Yew) is? Google her! here and here

Her house is huge-ish and fab.

She even labelled the food and put them into nice chaffing dishes. Very buffet-ish

I would be lying if i said Betty's Saw's cooking is not good. It was deliciouso.

Due to our small detour, we arrived at Genting Highlands First World Hotel at about 4pm? 5?

Christmas decorations were up.

I'm taller than Siwei but shorter than Erica. My younger sister! Y.Y

We put two single beds together. Was very spacious anyhow. I'm the only one without funny quirks while sleeping. (my sis does kung fu stunts while sleeping and siwei was there to experience it)

We had dinner at the Hainam restaurant. The food sucked ass and the price was madness.

It sucked. Not nice. Not even hainan-ish.

Thats me singing in the Karaoke. You can see Sarah on the far right laughing at my singing. Hmph.

Day 2 : 9th December

Day 3 : 10th december

Shopping is whut we do best.

In the picture here, I look like i'm constipated. Anyway. Thats Erica's back.

We went for bowling later that night.

Sorry but never let Sharlene play with the Player's Names.

Day 4 : We went to Melacca for some shopping and for some Restaurant Fatty Lee crab. I wasnt too keen on the crab so i ordered sambal sotong.


So thats all about my genting trip 2009. A tedious 2 hours spent on this post. Hmph. I deserve a kiss.
